Most online games require you to use a broadband connection to make up with the tons of memory and ram that will cram up in the game, especially if there are several players around. It's very difficult to play it regularly if you're on a dial-up connection. If you end up in the latter, hope that when playing, there is no traffic as it does interfere with your connection and making a very long loading time during the course of the game. Also when going online, make sure you have no other browsers or programs open that are downloading or uploading any content as that also affects speed. Finally, play on servers that are closest to where you live. Playing on a server that's a world away (assuming you live in the US and playing a server in Japan, for example) cause great loading lags even in broadbands.

Are you playing this game on a router? If so, then it may help to make your computer a DMZ zone or to add the ports that the game uses into the router's configuration page.

If you're not sure about the router (it could be built in with the modem) then click Start, Run, cmd enter. In the dos box type ipconfig to display your IP#. If its a number that starts with 192.168 or 10.0. then it is a router. If not, then disregard this post...

You normally access the router by opening a webpage and typing http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1

Make your system a DMZ zone and also goto port forwarding. Do a google search for these terms: City of Villains port firewall and see what ports the game uses. Then setup those ports in the Port forwarding area to go to your system.

I answer such countless questions that i will't continuously get straight away decrease back to human being posts.
