Well the Greek mythology is very interesting and there are some people who believe in the Gods of Olympus. Some also claim that believing in the twelve Gods of Olympus shouldn't be regarded as heretic. I think so too, even if I don't believe in the twelve Gods. Everyone has the right to believe in everything, but unfortunately the Greek Orthodox Church is so conservative, despotic and hypocritic...

I am sure people out there do, catholic and Christianity in that religion have ties to Greek mythology in a way; it's interesting. I personally believed that most of the creatures that existed then, were real.

It may take a few 100 years (if man survives) but I can foresee a day when a future version of this question will be "Does anyone still believe in christian mythology?

And what about Norse mythology...Odin, Thor? Way more interesting than Jeebus..

There are many thousands that still honour and worship the Greek and Roman pantheons. Look up Dianic pagans and that is just a small part of what's out there. In the spring there are huge public rituals dedicated to Demeter and Persephoni to bring in the growing time. Many of our soldiers are in contact with Ares and Athena, also. Oh, yes, people still believe.

All mythology is metaphore and most enlightened people accept it as such, even those who worship the Gods associated with it. Much of it is based in actual events and so many people believe in that. Archaeologists occasionally use myth to give them leads to find things. Odysseus's Ithica was recently discovered, for instance. So, your answer is... sort of. There are many people who still worship the Greek Gods. I am one of them. I honor Gaia, Uranos, the descendants of Hyperion, Aphrodite and a few of the clan of Zeus. I differ from most Hellenes in this. The general term for this religion, by the way, is Hellenism.

Unfortunately, in Greece, this is illegal, but they are fighting for their rights!

No. I met a woman from Greece and she said mythology is still taught in schools but not as true history or religion. It's kinda like us reading Shakespear, the myths are classic.
