im talking after i arive for work and get it there truck and go to and from the worksite sometimes its over a two hour ride so if im not getting payed for it what happens if we get in a accident so then im not getting payed for over four hours

Who the hell pays you to drive to work? Be glad you don't have to drive your own vehicle and shut up.

Of course Biznitch didn't read the question before answering, so don't pay any attention to her. Of course they have to pay you while you're driving their truck. The minute you walk on their lot, if that's when you're scheduled to be there, that's when the clock starts. File a complaint, and you'll get back wages and overtime.

It's 100% legal that they do not pay you to drive back and forth to work in their company truck. www.dol.gov

that depends if your leaving from your place of work,then it would be yes they have to pay.
If your leaving from home to the site then no they don't have to payuntil you arrive there

if you are going from home to work or work to home, no he does not have to pay you. now if you are running errands for the company, yes.
