I have an engagement party to go to this evening, and I have a few questions to ask...
1. I want to wear either a chocolate brown to the knee dress that is dressy casual...or a navy blue and white polka dot dress to the knee that is dressy casual...Which would you go with?
2. Depending on the dress, which colors shoes and accessories would you wear with each?
3. The choc brown dress, if I wear that one, is stretchy but a slight bit tight across my hips...Is there anything I can wear underneath the dress to camo my hips??

1. Depends on your eye color. If you have brown eyes, wear the brown. If you have blue eyes, wear the blue. Your eyes will stand out better if you try to match the clothing color to them.
2. Just my opinions....
Brown- brown or burgundy
Blue- navy blue, white, or black
Edit: I liked what people said about the accessorizing. If you were to do turquoise with brown, then don't wear burgundy shoes.
3. not sure. Could try specific underwear that is meant to hold in your thighs. Go to a department store and ask the person in the underwear department. They should know what you can use for your situation.

The navy with white polka dots sounds adorable and fits you better. Do you have white or navy shoes? If not, straw, natural or taupe shoes would be fine.
If you wear the brown, you need firm control top panty hose or a girdle and neutral accessories.

navy blue dress with polka dots, maybe pearls?
#3. if u are young like twenties u might consider a gerdle, but sometimes they are uncomfortable

You should do the chocolate dress, a girdle might help with the hips, but it might screw up the lines of the dress (do people even own girdles these days??). Do you have any control top hose? That might work too.

Just go with the chocolate dress. Either cream colored accesories or turquiose if your more of a trendy type. Dont worry about the hips, no one else will see them like you do. Best wishes
