Bad spelling is a matter of laziness on the writers part! It takes nothing to click on spell check before you post. Why should we be subjected to bad spelling when correct spelling is so easy to do. It would seem that bad spelling is nothing more than rude to your readers. Why make me spend minutes trying to figure out what you are asking , when you could make it easy. It isn't a matter of judging your writing, it is a matter of realizing that you just don't care enough to do your best. That is a sad statement about the writer, not the reader.

The main problem is that some answers are almost unintelligible because of the bad spelling. I don't really care if someone uses their, there, or they're (although I do notice the error) but I wonder on occasion if the writer's whole hand moved a key to the right or something and they didn't notice, as the gibberish has to be explained somehow!

because people who can't spell seem uneducated, lazy and irresponsible. it bothers me when i have to actually decipher a sentence rather than read it. there is a spell check option in this forum, so people should use it. i do realize that nobody is perfect, including myself. i do attempt to spell correctly, not just for the benefit of anyone reading my posts, but also because i am educated and would prefer to sound that way rather than a 12 year old. and, yes. i do judge people for their bad spelling. i usually point it out instead of answering their question. i am all that you hate. but, i'm not a god.

Spelling is a reflection of one's self, just like your hairstyle or your clothing. It's an aspect of yourself that others can judge you on. I make terrible grammar and spelling mistakes. I do appreciate feedback and I continue to try to improve my writing skills.

Good luck with yours!

The reason is that when ppl get angry or have no arguments they attack spelling.
I purposly don't even bother to use spell check anymore.
All my writing are inspired by GOD and thgat's the way it writing should be.
Who ever saying i mispell it means they are primitive minded ppl and have tno talk to GOD because if they did they would know that GOD leads my typing the way it is and its perfect in any direction.
Usualy ppl who tries to accuse others for spelling have no knolwedge of any education to support them. But they do use spell check, GOD will send those ppl to hell since he is the one who invent mispellings.

It depends, everyone goofs every now and then, especially when typing quickly, but some people can seem to be semi illiterate with truly bizarre misspellings. It just kind of cracks me up when an ignorant racist is trying to rant on line and they spell/type as if drunk. Its damn funny.

people that have no concept of sentence structure, grammar, vocabulary and spelling just seem so stupid, and I think that on this forum people do it in an attempt to be funny, either that or they are on their private time in the library at Lambs Farm

Take criticism constructively. It's people's way of saying "you still have room for improvement" and you have to accept it on a positive note.
