If the company does not have an online job application form, is it still acceptable to email your letter and CV to apply for a position?

Or is post more formal and correct?

Yes, I am a recruiter and I keep and file the resumes I get electronically. The hard copies get lost and are not accessed as quickly. Bring nice hard copies for them when you come in to interview. good luck.

You can always email a copy of your resume to a company to see if they have a job for you. Regular mail looks better and may stand a better chance of being seen.

If you know they have a job available, but do not have an online application, odds are they don't hire via the internet so there is a fair chance your email will be ignored.

Your best bet is to either call and ask them how they accept applications or go to their offices in person (looking professional).

I would think it would be best to post your application unless they say they accept e-mail.
