I would say that 128k is too slow for gaming, and certainly to0 slow if hooking up your games console like XBOX Live etc...

I would suggest a minimum of 512k and preferably 1mb to get the most out of the game and avoid lag. IMHO

Sounds like a 128K ISDN line. This is the equivalent of having 2 Dialup modem connections (56k) bridge together.

You will be able to play a few online games with that, but some of them will not play so good. For the most part, the online games may seem laggy. Some online games only send info back and forth every few seconds, some of them require a constant stream of data being exchanged constantly.

A game like World Of Warcraft (worldofwarcraft.com), probably won't work out so good.

A game like A Tale in the Desert (atitd.com) doesn't require a lot of bandwidth.

Let's say you're hooking up your Playstation to the internet, a game like Socom (a shooting game you fight other players) will definetly not work.

You might be able to get away with an older shoot em up game, like Quake 4, Unreal Tournament, etc

In a nutshell, I wouldn't expect a whole lot. You might want to see if a particular game has a trial version you can download first and see how it performs before you just go out and start laying down 50.00 for games from the store.

if its games like wow, battlefield 2, guild wars eg
no u need atleast 1mb connection speed.
