Go to my computer, control panel, then select the icon named "SYSTEM" then select device manager, locate the "sound, video and game controllers, then uninstall or remove all drivers that are being used by your sound drivers. you must reboot the system. when it restarts, it is automatically reconfigured and reinstalled and you can see the information that will appear to the lower right corner at the task bar "new hardware found". click the pop up bubble info then click "next" if ask something about the hardware, and will install the driver. when done, restart again, and your volume controls will appear.

Try control panel-sounds and audio devices. Check the settings and make sure that they are correct. Adjust the volume using the volume control on the outside of the laptop case. Check the volume level on the Windows Media Player or the program that you are using at the time to play your media and make sure the volume level is set right on that particular program.
