Humanism originally was a Christian concept (humans are the closest to God, and the world was created for them). This skipped to Secular Humanism (there is no God, the here and now is the most important thing). Individualism can be taken several ways, but generally doesn't have a religious bent to it (Burke comes close).

Individualism still acknowledges the presence of God. Humanism would suggest that Humans are the highest intelligence in the world (scary)
