I don't know about Jamaica, but when you want to leave New Zealand you have to pay (20 NZ$, I think).

Let's see.....I was there a couple years ago and I don't remember having to pay a tax or anything to get in. If I did, it wasn't much. But I remember there is a "departure tax" of $1000 Jamaican (which at the time converted to $17 US).

Yes, as soon as you get off of the plane armed security will make you pay $500.00 U.S. dollars. It's better to take a boat or swim; no fee.
