My partner and I live two hours away from one another. I have two kids, one at school.. My parents live 7 miles away and are great grandparents; they help out a lot.I work part-time, but travel an hour to get to work.My partner has a son who lives with his ex...15 mins away from his house. He has a job but wants to change job anyway. We are having trouble deciding where to live. I want to keep things as stable for my kids as possible, but I'm sure he doesn't really want to be so far away from his son. Ideas?

Let him move to where you live. 2 hours away isn't that far from his son. If this doesn't work out, you're still settled and it'll be easier for him to move away compared to you uprooting your kids.

in satuation like this i think you need to be a little selfish for ur self and ur children, think about the other problem you i aready going through with you travel one hour to go to work i think you shouldn't move, you guys should wait untail the suation get bater or else the kids will get hurt.

Well I think his son right know is old enough to make decisions.so since your children are younger stay there have him move with you since he wants to change jobs anyway. And your children right now love to be around there grandparents it wont last they will grow up.
