I don't think any month is good or bad luck
October is the first Month of the Hockey Season.
I you are talking injuries there are probably more as the season is only starting up and players are not as game ready as mid or late season onward.

I don't think it is...and I dont know why it would be....I mean my birthday is in October and the NHL starts in October so I think it's a pretty good month.
