Of course they have a right to defend themselves, but bombing another country for a kidnapping or two isn't 'defending yourself'.
Defending yourself is repelling against an invasion or retaliating against an ATTACK. A kidnapping, however, is not an attack nor is it anything worth starting a war over.
How much sense does it make to go bomb an airport and a foreign embassy in Lebanon because some terrorist organization kidnaps two people? It doesn't make any sense. It's like beating the crap out of the bus driver because the guy in the backseat took 2 bucks from you.

Israel has a right to defend itself from the Muslim gangs, because they are killing Israeli soldiers and breaking cease-fire agreements

the Palestinians have had thousands of innocent people killed because of senseless Israelis. if two Israeli soldiers were going to attack you and you had the chance to capture them before they attacked you would you? well i know i would, and you make it sound like the Palestinians are the bad ones but do you know how many Innocent people including little kids are being captured and tortured for nothing. just so the Israelis can show there power. that is what i call inhuman

I am supprised to see so many answer yes!
Israel has showed great restraint in the way they are fighting againt the Hezbollah that it is amazing.
They get bombed almost daily by them and haven't really done more till now.

Yes. This is a group of terrorists and they didn't want to negotiate with them. Unfortunately this group lives in Palestine, and Palestine is in full knowledge of them and what they do, but don't stop them.
