we can keep going on our greedy, selfish, hippocritic, holier than thou, ultimately evil way and end it all for good. Bush will still think God loves him as Satan takes his greedy ignorant *** for eternity

Can America become more alienated from the rest of the world?
Sure it can, and GWB is working hard to alienate everyone.
Is this as far as we can go?
Using DU ammunition that is equal to thousands of little nuclear attacks is a crime against humanity. Holding prisoners without due recourse is against international rules.
I think that is farther than reasonable...
Could it go further?
Sure .. so far the people of the USA are willing to follow Bush and he could try for a 3rd term.

Interesting question; but I would disagree with your presupposition. America is not alienated from the rest of the world. Who rendered the most help to the great tsunami in India? Who does the world look to when any disaster occurs? Americans respond in great numbers to any worthy cause they can. No, we are not an alienated people. If anything, we are a people too worried about everyone else's problems. America is trying to settle the problems in Afghanistan and Iraq; America is trying to solve Israel's problems in the Middle East; America is attempting to help the negotiations with North Korea.....
No, you have got it all wrong; we are not "alienated" at all. We are too busy sticking our noses in where they are not wanted or needed.

How are we "alienated"? We lend aid to practically everybody and we're always sticking our nose into the business of other countries!
