yet each individual has their own unique fingerprint,.are there really that many lines in a single finger to make that humanly possible or is God just that awesome.... what do you say?

They say the same thing is true about snow flakes. They don't even have a number high enough for that.

First, there are no gods. Grow up and get over it.

Second, the world's population is estimated to be a little over 6.6 billion.

Third, it isn't just lines, it is a pattern. To date, no two have been found to be perfect matches.

Six billion people is nothing compared to the 13 trillion insects in one phylum alone. We're only one species in a pool that dwarves us immensely.

We've evolved, and chemicals change. We're just that special.

I don't think we really know. I think unique fingerprint is at least wide spread enough that it is feasible to use as an identifier.
