Nah he'll still play for italy. Beckham plays for Real Madrid too, but he still plays with the british team at the Euro and World Cups.

No he is not going to play from italy not because he is going to real madrid but because of his age. The club does,nt decide the national team. you may take some of examples:
payer club country
zidane real madrid(spain) france
P.viera juventus (italy) france
T.henry aresnal (england) france
van de sar manchester (england) holland
united

it wont really matter if he plays for real....hes still italian and therefore would still play for italy if he decides to play in the world cup again.

keep in mind that alot of players dont actually play for clubs or teams in their home country. as long as during they world cup they play for the country in which they were born or in which they are legal/official citizens.

It's not the country you play in, but the country you were born in (or a parent was born in) that matters.

Under current FIFA rules, once you play for a country at senior level, you can not change over to another country.

I'll still play for Italy no matter what club he's playing for. Coz he's an Italian.

He can still play for the Italian national side. It doesn't matter what country you play your league football in; the country of your birth, your parent's birth or grandparent's birth decides what national team you can play for.
