No car is designed to run on premium gas. Its a law the manufacturer cant even recomend it. In reality the few benifits like higer octane for more horsepower are not worth the extra $$ The engine and the computer are timmed for regular pump gas and thats all that should be used. Unless your reffering to some exotic forien car like lamborgeine or what ever. then you can afford the gas.

You can run ANY car on regular gas. In fact, some cars are made to run on regular gas. If you put premium gasoline into, say, a Toyota Corolla, the gasoline will not affect the car in any way. It will not make it faster or make it get better gas mileage. It might help in the long run ( more mileage out of it ), but you wont notice a difference. But, for example, if you put regular gasoline into, say, a BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or any other car made to run on premium gasoline, it will affect the car. The car will not have as good performance, the gas mileage might go down, and you might ruin the engine. Putting premium gasoline in any car helps the engine IN THE LONG RUN. You most likely will get way more mileage out of your engine.

I believe cadillacs run on regular gas. If you are looking for a car that has more on it than a 120,000+ mercedes for under 35,000 Toyota Avalon, it is probably one of the best luxury cars made for the Money.

I have had cars (Luxury, high end, not Hondas) that I didnt always put in premium gas. I would alternate, and they ran fine, same mileage no engine problems.
