This is not meant as an advertisement. I was stuck in traffic nearby and I was happy to see the new $130 Million dollar roof is almost finished. Just wondering how many around the world have actually been inside, what was the event, etc.

Twigless: Thank you so much for correcting me. I wouldn't want people to think that we're throwing away money down here. That's a great link too, thanks again!

On February 3, 2002 I went to Super Bowl XXXVI at the SuperDome. We flew in from my home in Boston a couple of days before the game. We were playing the St. Louis Rams. I was so excited the day of the game! It was an incredible game. My beloved New England Patriots won with a field goal. With no timeouts we got the ball, I remember Brady completing three short passes to J.D. Redmond. We were at our own 41 w/ 33 seconds left. Brady completed 23 & 16 yard passes. Then, Incrdedibly, with 7 seconds left we spiked the ball at the Ram's 30 yard line. Vinatieri kicked that ball, for a 48 yard field-goal. We won the game 20 to 17. I will never forget that game!

I've never been there but drive by it about 4 times a year when visiting New Orleans.

FYI - The roof project was $32 million of the estimated $139 million repair bill due to the damage caused by hurricane Katrina.
