Supergirl is alternatively referred to as the Girl of Steel. Physically, she's the mightiest female of all time! She is in reality Kara, Superman's first cousin, the daughter of the Kryptonian scientist Zor-El and his wife Alura. On Earth, where, she acquired super-powers identical to Superman's. Like all Kryptonian, Supergirl is vulnerable to kryptonite. Both have same kind of power but being a women she is not as powerful as superman. So, finally, superman is stronger.

At a young age when she first arrives on earth she is weaker than Superman but she holds the ability to be stronger than Superman because of her cells. She is able absorb more yellow sunlight than Superman which allows her to heal faster and dish out more stronger punches, when she needs to but Superman is wiser and is able to problem solve better. In strength wise older Supergirl is stronger but both are still weak to kryptonite.

Superman has mental blocks from being raised by humans, Supergirl does not. without these mental blocks i would say Super man is stronger, but with them I will say Supergirl is stronger

Well, let's keep it clean and legal and only compare Superman to Superwoman. Supergirl is not street legal yet.
Superwoman of course. Women always hold one thing over their men, and hers has extraordinary powers. Wow, think of how great the sex would be!
