All detergent contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate ( the sudsing ingredient).They just have different compositions, amounts, fragrance and packaging - so yes is is safe to use. FYI i would advise not to use any products containing SLS on the skin!

Yes, Tide will create more suds the you want to deal with at more expense than common dish cleaner.

Yes. Plus it can provide a little abrasive action to get off stuck on food. It is a little harder to rinse though.

You can use it to clean dishes, as long as you rinse well. But make sure to wear gloves because it will tear up your skin otherwise.
