How do you find a business that no longer may exist?

The name of the business had to change it's name because copyright laws.

Have you tried web yahoo or Google web searches for the old name of the company? If the company had a website, chances are that information is available, including lawsuits prompting a name change.

This information is always available from the secretary of states office in the state the business once existed.
