the tv guide channel. They have cute little mini shows plus I could see the titles to every show that I would be missing.

Mtv. I'm addicted to the reality shows.
A close second would be the food channel. I imagine I'd gain a lot of weight if I could only watch that channel though. Have you ever turned on the food channel late at night when you can't sleep? Yeah not good.

i'd have to choose the Discovery Science channel...because all the news station would have is "why did television die?" or have an expose on what led to the events of a one station world or some extremist group attacking another on the grounds that they have found a way to get another station....better yet...turn the damn thing off.

The Comedy Channel/ Comedy Central... Life is WAY too short; we all need to be able to "bow" to life's many absurdities: AND, because it's either laugh or cry, as we approach ever-nearer to our many "cusps of catashrophe," well, life being what it is, I'd rather LAUGH! Laughter IS "the best medicine."

That's a tough one. Probably BBC America because it has a good variety of shows and excellent news.
