Hey there, you will need a router, and a wireless network adapter, maybe you dont need wireless network adapter if you have one built in to your laptop, and when you get a router just hook it up to your modem, and it will send signal to your laptop and to other pc.

Email me if you have any questions!!!

Yes, if you do have a wireless network card in your laptop, (like the laptop I am using right now), you will only need a wireless router. You plug the cable modem into the wireless router. You may have to get a wireless network card for the desktop, but am not too sure. You can ask at the place you get the wireless router. Hope this helps.

If you already have wireless network between the two and you only want to share the Internet connection CC Proxy is a nice piece of software that should do the trick ;)

It's pretty easy. Go to Staples or Best Buy or someplace and ask for a wireless router. They'll ask you some questions and then give you what you need. You can set it up yourself, and it comes with a disk that tells you what to do.
