If I understand your question I believe the answer is no. I do not think there is a way to keep these applications private ...I may be wrong. Check out the microsoft website to find out for sure...

yes 2 ways
1st- when u save as go to options top right and set a password to open. people will try 2 open it but wont be able 2. also most password cracking softwares for ms office are 4 digits (free) so make it longer than that and use symbols too
2nd- use a software like "lock files & folders XP" to hide the files completely. nobody will be able to see the files leave alone open them. works on all file types , folders and drives.

Yes...

Go to File >> save as, and then go Tools (on the top right) and select security options. you will be able to set passwords there. :) Good luck.

Ya....U can put password......in the page...so when ever you have to poen the page you have to give password......This is names as MACRO
