I love them both =. The second picture dosen't really do it justice, (it's the only online picture of it i could find) they're almost an amber color and not as old lady as they look. my face shape is an oval and my face (as i have been told) is very small.

I've been told when I choose a new pair of glasses that thick plastic ones like the first ones can be kinda nerdy. If you get the right wire frame they're a lot less distracting. Think about it...find a wire frame that compliments your face or wear thick black platic ones. I personally think the plasic ones are more noticable but if you've got the right type of face, you can pull them off as trendy. I suggest going to a lens store like DOC or whatever you have and just go try them out. In the end you're the one that has to wear them. Also, try not to think what other people would like or how to be "less nerdy". In the end, it's whether your confidence shines through. If you think you're nerdy, people will pick up on that. They may poke fun of you at first but if you show them it doesn't get to you and what's the big deal, no one will care what glasses you wear. And in the end, do you really want to hang around people who judge people on glasses? Just my thoughts:) Good luck!

I would go with The first link. But ya know you could go for a square frame, cause the first one look kind of oval in a way. Stay with a basic color as well, Black, brown, or sliver. Remember you want them to match and to be able to wear them with anything.

The jelly plastic ones...the metal look like man glasses.
I wear glasses and I like plastic frames better; they don't leave the marks on the sides of my nose.
I get *really* cool frames on eBay and get the lenses put in by mail order. It great and super douper cheap!
I can try on the designer frames at an optical shop and then buy the same frame on eBay for next to nothing.

Oooo, don't get the first ones unless you want to look like the feminine version of Drew Carey. Trust me, when you look back on pictures of yourself in them 20 years down the road you'll be mortified. Choose something that doesn't stand out on your face, perhaps something rimless or else very thin metal. Don't go with a fad, or you'll be like me looking at myself in hippie clothes and tie-dyed peace tee shirts and psychadelic platform shoes and flowers in my hair.

Hard to decide without seeing the shape of your face, but I love the first ones.

I like the first ones, too. The second ones are too librarian. I don't think of glasses as nerdy, I see them as another accessory. My glasses are awesome and have rhinestones in the corners. I love them.

I'd go for the first one.....it's fashion and sturdy and not over done.

I have friends who have these glasses and really like them. They are really expensive because they're Coach but they are very nice!
