No, because even if she is responsible enough someone needs to be there to prevent outside influences to gain addmittance

Yes. I have 19 and 17 year-old daughters, and I would've let them stay home alone overnight when they were 15 if they had wanted to. If the 15-year-old is responsible and not crazy, and can be relied on not to throw any wild parties or get in trouble, there's no reason she shouldn't be able to. You just have to know what 15-year-old you're dealing with.

I think it depends on the 15 year old. I would let her stay home by herself for a few hours first , see how it goes. Also, you will never know unless you try, right? Give her rules such as don't anser the door for strangers, call the police if someone rings the doorbell more than once or twice, dont say my parents are not home over the phone, say they are busy etc. hope it helps :)

yes----if your parent think you are mature enough to handle the responsibilities of being alone for one night

no----if they think you are to immature to handle the responsibilities....

you could tell them that one day they are going to have to trust you being alone anyways so why not now its only one night and they could have the neighbors watch the house and make sure no one is coming over etc. etc. etc. so that way you can prove to them that you can handle the responsibilities

good luck

does she show responsibility in other things?
if yes, then yes, she can stay home. most probably she will be responsible too
if no, then no, she won't be responsible overnight as well.

her responsibility with regards to other things like chores, school work, friends, family, pets will translate to almost everything else that she will do.

Yes as long as you are responsible and respect your parents wishes. Make sure you ask them for all contact numbers and always answer the phone if they call.
