We probably don't have the same type PC, but I have an icon for "Help and Support." Clicking on this, and typing "boot disk" in the search box, brings up instructions for creating a boot disk.

You can't create a startup disk from Windows XP. That feature was only available on Windows 95/98/SE/ME.

The method I used was to use a startup disk I created from Windows 98. I copied the contents(including system files which are hidden) into a folder then using Roxio 8(creator classic module) created a CD which emulates a startup disk with the utilities and CD-ROM support.

If you don't have access to Windows 98 you can go here to create one. http://www.bootdisk.com

ok thats fine.

i think that you have NERO burning software, then

1. copy all the contents to your harddisk.
2. open the nero and select the "" Make Bootable Disk"" and then add all the files in you old XP disk to this.
3. burn it and use it.

if you want boot floppy means
insert floppy--- right click and format option--- in that select the make the bootable disk.
(it is on win 98 and i don't know with win Xp)
