Israel isn't killing innocent people in the name of some nutjob god, they're protecting themselves from being killed by them.

There's really no possible comparison.

Who cares if Israel was founded on terror or not?

First of all, it's not true. There were several terror organizations in Israel that attacked British targets. However, the attacks were few and so were British casualties. While those attacks are not justified, it's not fair to use them as a reason to call Israel a terrorist state right now.

The difference between Israel and terrorist organizations as Hamas and Hezbollah is: Israel never targets civilians, while terrorists almost always do. Why are civilians getting hurt? Because terrorists don't fight as an army, and therefore hide behind the backs of innocent civilians. When Israel faces the choice of whether attacking the terrorists and risking killing civilians or allowing them to kill Israel's citizens, the choice is quite simple.
Why are more Arab civilians get hurt than Israeli ones? The answer is simple here as well: Hezbollah's weapons are much less powerful than Israel's. In the last three days, Hezbollah fired more than 300 rockets specifically targeting civilians (as terrorists do), causing 4 dead Israeli civilians.

:"I am no longer sure that they are different.

I have heard it said we become what we hate. Killing is killing isn't it and the terrorists have just declared war - hmmm. They aren't terrorists anymore they are just the enemy now. Great huh?"

Killing is killing? So when the americans killed the nazis in ww2, you are saying they were wrong?
How are the israelis terroist for defending themselves against islamic fascist who want to wipe israel off of the map? The ISLAMIC terroist believe that the jews are infidels. Please back up your proof that israelis are terroist.

The palestinians (supported by Iran, Syria, Lebanon) TARGET CHILDREN. Thats right-- they target israeli children. Then they send their own kids to die. They send their own sons and daughters and put suicide vest on them. What kind of people are they? Israelis could wipe palestinians out but they don't. Because Israelis are humane.

Don't ever compare a western nation to a group of Islamic terroist CRIMINALS.

"Israel has hit 150 targets in Lebanon over the past four days. Only 12 of them are Hezbollah targets. "Not killing Innocent people".

You Ignorant self-absorbed dipshit"

Source is the BBC? Why don't you read a little about how biased and anti-american this so called "Fair" BBC is.

Name these targets that weren't terroist targets. But like the BBC, you won't show any facsts.

"On a side note: Israel has refused to comply with UN demands, Israel has violated the 4th article of Geneva conventions, and Israel was never punished thanks to the US veto. I'm thinking Israel is more like Al-Qaeda, and the US acting like the former government of Afghanistan, the Taleban for supporting Israel financially and militarily."

Refused to comply with UN demands? huh? The US veteod it-- meaning the UN never officially demanded anything. So there goes your first sentence.

Punished? How would you like it if your wife, son, daughter, or any friends or family member were killed or kidnapped by terroist and the UN said that Israel shouldn't defend itselt? The Israelis are defending themselves against these islamic animals.

Oh and God forbid US should support a DEMOCRACY in the middle east that protects the values of western civilization. I know GOD FORBID!

Israel was founded on terror. Many of its early leaders were accused of terrorism against Britain before becoming Prime Ministers. The first Prime Minister of Israel David Ben-Gurion supported violent attacks against British military bases in Palestine even though he earlier served in the British Army. Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin was accused of terrorism by Britain for bombing military and civilian targets. Yitzhak Shamir is another prime minister accused of bombing civilian and military targets. Golda Meir was a member of zionist organization that was banned and considered to be involved in terrorist activity by the british mandate. Again Israel was founded on terrorism principles!

On a side note: Israel has refused to comply with UN demands, Israel has violated the 4th article of Geneva conventions, and Israel was never punished thanks to the US veto. I'm thinking Israel is more like Al-Qaeda, and the US acting like the former government of Afghanistan, the Taleban for supporting Israel financially and militarily.

Probably just that Israel aims its rockets at violent people who unfortunately locate themselves among innocent people. Al Queda aims at innocent people on purpose. That's about it.
