I like the new pornographers, clap your hands say yeah, sufjan stevens, the arcade fire, the scissor sisters, the decemberists, the talking heads, and more but i'd love some new music to listen to.

probaly, the best known band that isn't known is Louis XIV, with his song, God Killed the Queen on SSX On tour, he pulled it off easy

Sonia Dada is good, so is Marc Broussard (sp??)., if your into that kind of music. Oh and Flogging Molly is good, too, but more well known. In terms of movies, "Thursday" is great, as is "Lock Stock & Two smoking barrels" and "kiss kiss bang bang" with Val Kilmer. Not completely obscure, but not your "pop culture" stuff either.

The M's -- from Chicago, they just supported Wilco on theyre North American tour and (I though they were better than Wilco)
