Why so so many stupid ppl spend thousands on designer clothes?

Ok this one has been bugging me forever! I have been out with enough girly girls to know that they will spend thousands of dollers on clothes just because of a name on the clothes. Who chooses what names should sell a pair of 300 doller jeans (mine cost $25) and what will become the next buyway bargin. Most designer clothes are not very original and still seem too sell like crasy, it does not make sense. One day Gucci will Sh!t in a can and sell it to the puplic and people will probibly but it. Help people, I need to know. Why do you give a sh!t if the clothes have a little LV on the side???

They are sheep. They are into image and brand names only. Don't worry about them, they are wasting their money. Be good with your money and live a great life.

Actually, everything that anyone buys was actually designed by a designer - you're just buying rip-offs with less detail, less hand-sewing, a worse cut, and very, very cheap fabric. Oh, and it's sewn in China or Taiwan in a sweatshop, so that it only costs a few cents to make.
When people buy from designers, they're paying to have what you will be buying for cheap 3 seasons from now. They're paying for the newest style, better materials (which cost more and escalate the price), and more attention to detail.

It's all got to with snob value, status and exclusivity matters, that matters a lot to rich people. They want to have what's most expensive and they want to brag and show the world that payed an insane amount of money to have the 'best'. It's an ego rush really.

And as long as there are rich people to buy all those hideousily expensive brands, the companies will cash in on it; they will trip on each other to make the best and most luxurious coveted item.

Why do so many people spend thousands on cars when a used Toyota would be quite serviceable?

Why do some people spend hundreds of dollars getting their hair done when they look better with a plain ponytail?

they do because they think it will impress someone. they want the right cloths, car,gadget shoes, or at least be in the right store. for some reason they think this will validate there lives.

PS $25 for jeans, you pay more than i do.

because people want to live in a fake reality. most of these people you see, cant afford it to begin with. they pick up this habit from mommy and daddy. the mercedes these parents buy for them or their kids, what's the car note for? because they cant afford to pay the full payment on it.

RIGHT? I AGREE. I BOUHGT NAME BRAND CLOTHES ONCE AND NEVER WILL AGAIN. THEY WENT TO HELL IN LESS THAN 3 WEEKS. I STICK TO MY WALMART OR OTHER STORE BRANDS THEY ARE CHEAP AND LAST WAY LONGER. AND FOR HALF THE PRICE YOU CAN GET THEM WHILE YOU GET FOOD. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!
