What do the little green caterpillars grow up to be? A rare or beneficial moth or butterfly? Or an agricultural pest with no redeeming qualities?

You have answered your question your self, 'little green caterpillars''. Yes they love to eat sage. Don't buy any chemical solutions. Relax, find 20 minutes a day and pic them off your self.
Nature is the best anwsear and you are part of it.

Catapillers ususlly turn into beautiful butterflies or moths. None the less, they can wreck havoc on our plants. Use Seven dust to get rid of them. It is not harmful to humans or pets, and it is inexpensive.
