Anyone here a Virgo? And why are you so picky about everything?

You know, there is more than one way to do things and get the same result you know. No need to be so critical.

I am a Virgo. but I don't have the 'thing/habbit' to pick on everything. Even for work. But to my understanding and observations of other Virgos, not all Virgos pick on everything. But in areas of concern, interests, they have high expectations. Most Virgos may be easily agitated at small things which most other people doesn't care for, but they care, hence they mind and gets agitated, sometimes even to be offended. To deal with them (virgos), understand them, find out what are the things/issues that they really care about (e.g. for work: meeting datelines, getting results, verbal/actions to assure him/her that things are working well) and avoid crossing the line if not, prepare for whatever possible things that they may do. They can go to the extreme ends to get what they want. They can be narrow-minded, bear grudges, worry/think too much, impatient, stubborn, some are pretentious... But talking about their pros, they are nice people and really think for people whom they care for, they may tell you things about you which you do not wish to hear as it could be negative, but what this Virgo is trying to say is 'I saw your flaw, and I was thinking if you know about it? It would be best to inform you about it so that you can change for the better and not be the last one to know.' and they like to improve themselves (in all areas possible), industrious, gives trueful advice and comments (that may even hurt you but they don't mean anything bad, just being blunt and straight forward). They like to be systematic and organized, crave/hunger for knowledge, and trustworthy.

There may be more than one way to do things, but my way is the most thorough and efficient! heh heh

I am extremely particular about how certain things are done, but others I could care less about.

The one thing that I do not understand/cannot understand is why anyone would bother to do something if they are not going to do the very best possible job they can.

I think that is a Virgo trait. Sometimes this all gets in the way of enjoying myself.

.Well we came by it honestly. We can't help it it's in our nature. If only everyone was a Virgo. Efficiency is critical. You know it is funny how you hit the nail on the head that is exactly me. I'll try to work on it.

I'm actually a pisces and I think that is such an unfair sterotypes, Virgo are just naturally very efficent they can't help it. I have lots of Virgo pals and I actually like when they catch my errors. Besides even though I'm a pisces I'm alwayscorrecting people's grammar. It's nothing personal. It's just in their nature.

yes their is more than one way to do things but their is only one "best" way to do things. my lively hood depends on accuracy and efficiency so I will continue "being so critical".

I am a Virgo. We are sometimes picky about things. We see the little details in things. We think it might mean something. That this must have more meaning then the color blue. Our personality is very organized so we might want a blue box instead of a pink one. I will say I do this because it is just instinct. Or maybe I have a pink box and I want to be more organized by color. We are picky about things because the little things matter to us.
