It happens all the time. Don't let anyone step on your heart though. You are so much more beautiful and kind-hearted to give so much and not even receive what you've put into it. Love yourself 1st, then noone is deemed more important to you, thus not allowing your heart to get stepped on.
There's someone for everyone, just when your search is over, he'll come knocking on your front door. And remember, good things come to those who wait...

I suffered that once, and let me tell you that a year has gone by, and I still regret every moment of it. To think that I wasted so much of my time on someone that always took me for granted. To think that I sacrifised my other friends for her love, to think that I became unhealthy, to think that I spent so much on her, to think that I tried so hard. Till I got tired, so tired I didnt care to loose her anymore, it was less painfull to let her go then the agony I felt for her constant rejection. She was cruel, harsh, cold, and ultimately selfish. I would have done anything for her love, but she still wouldnt of care, she never did care. Nostalgia is all that is left out of that miserable relationship, that at a time it was beutiful.
So my friend I suggest you let go at it, and waste your time and effort on someone who will appreciate every moment of it, otherwise you;ll grow old and eventually hate your self for going against the impossible. There are a hundred other paths other then the one you are forcing yourself in, be strong and let it go, when its all over you'll be glad you dint go deeper. After all the only thing thats at stake right now is your tortured heart. This person who you feel for, doesnt really care, and he/she isnt suffering at all. He/she is enjoying life, while you agonize in pain.
Think about this: Is it worth suffering for someone thats suppose to make you happy?

Yeah, sucks big time. Especially when you're married to them and find out they were never faithful, and they never loved you and they only married you to use you. Yep...sucks.

Yeah, it sucks. But, it's a good learning experience, as long as you remember what you learned.

Yes. And by the time she came around, I wasn't really in to her anymore, so I guess what goes around comes around. But all the time I liked her, it was painful the way she treated me.....

That sounds like my whole high school experience. When you get out of high school, it gets better.

Yes it does and that's why it is called a crush. Because when your feelings aren't reciprocated you feel crushed.
