Tell her and/or her Mother, that you have things to do, and that it would be best if they call ahead to see if it's convenient. At that time you could also state for how long if the answer is yes. You will probably be called alot, but It's easier to say, yes or no over the phone, versus face to darling little face. If you can or want to set up play dates on certain days and times, you could that set up. Your neighbor needs to take care of her own child. This happened several times in our home. The only real plus was that I knew what was going on with my kids when they where at home. With a parent like your neighbor you have to wonder if there's any supervision. Of course you could turn this into a plus for yourself. Tell her you charge $2.50 an hour , and meals for an additional fee. Good Luck.

The kids should enjoy themselves. But if you really don't want this girl at your house, talk to her parents. Tell them you and your wife are leaving and you need someone to watch your kids. She'll take her daughter home and maybe watch your kids too.

send her home. Lock the door. it's your house! Tell her you've got a big dog who will eat her if she comes over. Tell her you'll feed her to your piranhas. Turn the hose on her. Call DSS on her mom. Bottom line, it's your house, you have control, not the kids. And you're not her mom. Why does her mom trust you to care for her?
