this is a blind shot, as I dont know you, or your interests, so my questions will only reflect my interests, but I ll give it a try:
How do we, as human beings ,measure the success and progress of a society. What standards do we use( happiness of its citizens is not good idea, numerous studies have shown that some of the happiest people on this planet have a lot less than citizens of the west, who supposedly live in the most advanced societies)
is it logical to conclude that progress has nothing to do with happines?
If success and progess is not a guarantee for happiness, then why bother?
