The best thing for sun burn is Aloe Vira.
Don't buy the commercial blended rubbish. Go to a garden center, buy an Aloe Vera plant. Cut of one of its fingers, squeeze out its jell and rub that on your sunburn. also you can keep the finger in your refrigerator and use it later.

Aloe Vera gel.
Also you could wrap yourself with Cabbage and or Lettuce leaves.
It sounds like nonsense but it works for sunburn, poison ivy, poison oak as well as poison sumac.
I have done this and couldn't believe it really worked.
You also will get some really funny pictures of yourself if you like.

Same as any other burn where the skin is not broken, soak in cool water for at least 20 mins. Then use after sun or calamine lotion.

Lavender essential oil is very good for any sort of skin burns. Just apply it undiluted directly to the sore areas. Calendula cream is also very soothing.
