Once again, I shall open Awful Angie's House of Rodents.

Some years ago, I had set up a Halloween display involving cake plates with doilies topped with stuffed mice (the kind we give to our cats). These were hugely successful; they were meant as a backdrop, but kids wanted mice instead of candy...of course, I was happy to give them mice in lieu of treats.

Last year I added large, realistic squeaking rats, that were an instant hit. This year, it's to be ALL rats, with candies only for the small kiddies who do not care for rats.

Also, every year there is a scare for the adults: one year, it was a bathroom scale; last year, it was a wooden box that, when opened, revealed the cost of a 4-year college education for a child currently trick-or-treating age. (Bwa-ha-ha-ha!). This year...well, come to my house and find out!

P.S. I'll bet I'm a lot more fun than Your Dream Doc, above.

I'll be at a Halloween party, dressed up as Hunter S. Thompson, complete with a shaved, bald head.

I will stay home. In my country the Halloween is not taken like a holiday.
