How do you swallow pills?

Question

I hold water in my mouth, drop the pill in, swallow both water and pill, and then swallow some more water.
How do you do it; with water, without water, crush them up, chew them, have to specially ask for liquid versions?

I taught my kids how to swallow pills using Skittles and half a can of soda. Put the pill (or Skittle) on the back part of your tongue. Next, take a big swig from a half full can of soda. To do this you have to lean your head back and so the pill is more easily swallowed. Worked great!

I take a sip of water to wet my mouth, then put the pill in and swallow, then sip more water. Unless it's one of those huge horse pills, then I either swallow it with water or cut it in half.

I put in pill, then take a sip and swallow. If no H2O, I try to get my mouth as moist as possible then pop the pill and swallow fast.

I use to not be able to swallow pills even with water. I would put it in my mouth but i just couldnt swallow it. Now i just throw the puill up in the air and catch in my mouth and swallow.

I hold the pill between my front teeth then wash it down with water.
I don't think it really matters how you take the pill so long as you take it. Don't chew it, though. Unless it says it's chewable. And of course you should wash it down with liquid after you take it. It helps the pill work faster.

sure, I used to try this as quickly as i could no longer swallow pills. only confirm you place purely a touch of water interior the glass, (or some thing flavored to do away with the yucky flavor) then placed the stuff in, and drink all the water; if there continues to be gunk on the backside placed extra water in and chug. lol.

Just break it if its a pill and swallow both parts at seperate times That way itd be easier to swallow.

I put the pills in my mouth (usuallly two or three times whatever the doctor recommended) and wash them down with a half a Mike's Hard Lemonade and a shot of SoCo. So fur iit's bin werkingg jus feen fer mi. I havvent haad one problummmmmm...ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

They have better affect if you put 'em under your tongue and have them disolve. It gets in you quicker than swallowing them. But if you mean overdosing on pills then just swallow 8 within a minute. It works
