Depends on my mood! Sometimes, I have a lot of time and choose to read books. Other times, I have little time and read magazines. Magazines tend to travel better - easier to pack. Sometimes it depends whether I want to read something that is full of short stories or detailed articles (magazines), or read about a colorful cast of characters at a different place and time (books). Sometimes it just because I have a whole stack of magazines and next to no books that I have not read.

Depends upon how much time I have. I love reading books but I hate being interupted cause I really get into them. So if I only have like 10 min I would rather read a mindless magazine but if I am sitting down to read I would definately choose a book.

Books, I like magazines but when you can read everything you want to in 20 minutes they aren't really worth it.

Magazines give me quick information but books carry me to places and time periods in crisp details. So, I go for books.

You get knowledge from both, magazines and books
Magazines are for people who have an interest in specific things
Books are for people who need to built an enormous understanding of all kinds of things, as well as daily life experiences.
