I feel like that a lot. I suffer from severe depression and I feel like that most of the time. I try to focus on the good things I have done. I also gave up on trying to please everyone. Ok, that is not true. I am trying to stop trying to please everyone. You have to be happy or you can never make anyone else happy.

Yep. People used to tell me to lose weight. So I did. Then they told me I had lost enough weight. Then they told me I lost too much weight and I should gain some back. Then they told me I should eat this or that. Then when I did eat some of this or that, then no, it wasn't enough.

Finally, I realized that the only people I really need to worry about pleasing are God and the people I work for. As far as everyone else is concerned, I'll do my best, but some compromise may be needed.

Sure, What's the question? You feel like you can't do anything right, you can't please all the people all of the time. So what? Be honest with yourself, be honest with other people, respect yourself, respect other people, the rest will work itself out.

I tell myself I did my best. And accept it as that whether right or wrong choices that is what I felt at the time.
