Oh my God! Quite possibly the most anoying advert of all time, but I keep finding myself singing it! I offended some friends the other day, by saying that the kid in the ad should probably commit suicide now, or face a life time of hatred from the rest of the world. Its the bit at the end that really ***** me off, where he does this stupid "boo yaka sha" type thing with his hands.
(Appologies for the boo yaka sha comment, no other way of describing it!)

Totally agree. Cant even imagine what it must have been like when that kid went to school the day after that came on TV! He probably got the crap beaten out of him! What a waste of money! And why does he rise up into the sky at the end of the ad???

Complete and utter rubbish! It must be fairly tough to create new ads that are original, but surely kellogs advertising team could`ve come up with something a little better than that! After all, that is their job!

Oh I know exactly how you feel!!
And *lol* "boo yaka sha" is probably how I would've described that too!! :-)

Perhaps he has somewhat pushy parents who get him to do anything and everything to become famous......

I haven't actually sung it but I do tap my foot a bit when it comes on (along with glaring at the offending kid)

LMAO! It seems you're definately not alone in that sentiment, Rose!

I have no television myself, so I don't get exposed to this sort of drivvel. But I *Did* read, in one of the fora I frequent, a thread about just this subject. And, my god! Weren't there some powerfully negative feelings expressed toward the whole thing! ROTF!

And, to think; Some idiot probably got paid a huge sum for dreaming it up.

But then again; It gets people talking about the product. Isn't that the key aim in these matters?
