My youngest brother and my nephew are the same age. They married sisters. How are the children of those two marriages related? By marriage, my brother's wife is her own sister's aunt.

They are cousins, however, that means my nephew and his chilren would have the same 1st cousins. Does it not?

They are not 2nd cousins. Normally, my brother's grandchildren and my nephew's children would be 2nd cousins. My brother's children and my nephew's children would be 1st cousins once removed.

Cousins - In normal circumstances your nephews children would be second cousins, however because of the sisters direct relationship their immediate offspring are cousins.
