Most of the 70 killed in the Israeli raids were civilians, and many of which were children. The United States was the only country supporting Israel, refusing to put any kinds of pressure on Israel to stop bombing civilian targets. Hezbollah may have started this, but they attacked military targets in the disputed territory of Shebaa Farms. Which goes to say that the 4th article of Geneva conventions is only brought up to protect civilian life of the powerful, and never applicable to the poor and the weak.
That should answer any questions people may have as to why many people in the third world don't like the United States government. Yeah, they always speak about democracy and freedom, but when it comes to real action, they're nowhere to be found. The so called "US National interests" (Dick Cheney's Haliburton and Bush's oil interests) are more important than any other principles, including life itself. Heck, we don't even have to go outside the United States to c how the Bush administration jeopardized the life of their own CIA personnel to punish anyone that dares to argue about their government. Enough said!

They were not aiming at a bus!! I wish idiots like you would do a little research before spouting your nonsense!! Unfortunately if civilians got killed it is very sad. How many Israeli children have been killed. This is not a tit for tat situation. This is a survival situation. I hate all war always have but I hate ignorant people more. Instead of the blame game go google Hezbollah and see what they have done. Lots of American Marines remember them!!!

How many innocent people have Hezbollah killed? Including little kids? Sorry but I won't take sides. Hezbollah is evil and Isreal kills innocent people because bad info. or misguided weapons. Hezbollah kills innocent people because they aren't part of Hezbollah. You say how horriable this is but give those kids a few more years in that enviornment and they would have likely been as bad as you are saying Isreal is.

I understand how Hezbollah can miss their target and hit a bus; they have rockets with bad aim.
But Israel, come on. They were children. And your weapons can aim. I'm pretty sure there were so many members of Hezbollah on that bus, yeah right.
For God sakes, have mercy upon each other despite racial or religious differences.
God have mercy upon all mankind!

I advice most Americans to get their news from reputable sources like the BBC website.
The UN peace Keepers witness the above mentioned incident and the people who were killed were leaving the village in accordance with the dropped leaflets instructions.

Baraa:
When Palestinians and arabs learn not to stand next to a terrorist, civilian deaths will cease. As long as they tolerate having Hezbollah and Hamas in their parlor, they can kiss their butts goodbye.
Sorry, but if someone told me you were tonight's target, I guarantee you'd be eating alone.

Haven't you ever heard of collateral damage? War is hell, and civilians get killed, but Israel didn't target the bus. Lies and foolish mis-statements like yours are what start wars.

I'm sure they didn't TARGET the bus. The missles are never as accurate as they promise. Plus its not like Palastine, Syria, Lebannon, or the United States always hit their mark.

What is the question? Everyone pray for world peace and for the souls of the innocent dead and the families dealing with loss and the continuing unrest.
