Clean hot water, a scrubb brush, a dry cloth towell to pat dry.
Apply elbow grease.
Repeat as needed. If you end up with a clean spot, I suggest you go rent a carpet shampooer and pre treat any stubborn spots with a product called "Resolve". You can find it at any chain store.

Step One: Send the children to their rooms for eating gooey stuff on the carpets!

Step Two: Get some ice cubes and allow the goo to freeze.

Step Three: Peel the icky off the carpet slowly.

Step Four: Repeat until all goo is gone.

Step Five: Get some caroet cleaner you aren't allergic too, maybe at a health food store, and clean the stain off.

Step Six: Don't allow gooey foods to be consumed on the carpets.

Because syrup is stick something like Goo Gone would work best. Once the sticky is gone if the carpet is still dirty try Resolve or some form of carpet cleaner. Good luck!

Go to Family dollar. They have a cleaner called awesome. It is in a clear bottle and the liquid inside is yellow. It will clean any and everything. It even takes blood stains out of clothing and grape jelly out of carpets. Try it! I live by it.

Resolve. It is the brand name of a carpet cleaner you can buy at the grocery store. It comes in a red spray bottle.
