I'm originally from South Bend, Indiana, and I also lived in Southwest Iowa. I moved down to Tampa, Florida.

You'll want to drive from Miami, though Atlanta, and stay overnight between Atlanta and Nashville. On your second day, drive to Chicago.

If you're not stopping to sightsee, it's two days up and two days back.

Free piece of advice................if you want to save on gas, fill up in the following places: Lake City, Florida........then again just north of Valdosta, Georgia..........then again about 30 miles north of Atlanta..........then again just south of Louisville, KY...........then again around West Lafayette, Indiana.
