I can't pick a favorite pet. It would cause unimaginable truama to my pets. My cat is still in therapy. I have a red Dachsund and a white cat we rescued from the human society. My then eight year old daughter insisted that we have a cat. I much prefer the weiner dog. Taffy is almost human, in fact we don't have the heart to tell her that she isn't. She sleeps with us every night, and whines if we don't lift her up and put her on our bed. She use to be able to jump up on our bed with us, but that was many table scraps ago. My fault, I have enabled her to become a Jenny Craig client. She barks at everything, and is extremely territorial. If I pretend to be beating up on either of my nine year old twins she will bark and howl at me and try to get me to stop. If they do that to me, she could care less. So much for man's best friend. She is the four legged daughter I never had.

I have three.

I used to breed pigeons, and one, Baby, was just a doll. He had paratyphoid when he was young, so he spent a LOT of time around my family so we could treat him. He was also raked by an oppossum and a rat trap closed on his leg (thanks dad), and he came through it all smiling.
He loved to sit on your chest while you were leaned back and kiss you, and loved to be scratched gently behind the eye. Unfortunately we could not cure the tumor, but he lived 10 years, which is ancient for a show pigeon.

Second is Keiko, who went through teenagerhood with me, and when I was mad at my parents she would be too. She just loved to be with me, and loved my dad too. She was a best friend when the world had me in tears. She always knew how I was feeling. She had to have a hysterectomy because of a prolapsed uterus, and died a year and a half later of septicemia.

The third I still have; she is a sun conure named Saroya. I was at a pet shop and some people who had bought her returned her because she was "too loud." Of course the pet shop couldn't take her back once she was out of teh store, so I took her. They were very well off and didn't care about the cost. She IS loud, don't get me wrong, but she is the lovingest and most playful bird I've had. And I'm glad for me that they decided to give her up, because we are happy.

I would have to say at time that my brother and a few of my ex-girlfriends were great. I would get them to do whatever I wanted and dominate them like a fascist. But that was a long time ago when I was an evil dictator. I have since given up having mnions as I am against slavery and my sould felt burdened. Oh how I do miss it though.

My favorite pet is my youngest dog, Chili. She is a lab/beagle mix and she is especially mine. I have three other dogs, but she sleeps on my feet when I'm still, and follows me around the house. She won't go outside unless I take her, and she will only eat if I put the food out for her. She's so cute! :)

my first pet. a blue male betta fish named whiskey. he was so cool. but then my 3 year old brother decided whiskey would have more fun if he had bubbles to play with. so he climbed all the cabinets searched in all the cabinets untill he found an alka selzer. droped it in the tank and watched whiskey play with the bubbles. whiskey died that night. of course i didn't know why untill i found a wraper od alka selzer near whiskeys tank and footprints on the counter right on top of where the alka selzers where.after that my mom hid the medicines better and my brother never climbed the cabinets again.

i hate my brother

My dog Wickett. He was a little black ShihTzu that lived for thirteen years. He was really cute and had a really good disposition. He stayed with me when I was in labor and would lay in front of my son's bassinette after he was born. He died on my 24th birthday. Nice present.
