Yeah I agree that's why I try to sing, write & play the Blues!
SING ME A SAD SAD SONG
WILLY SENKIWSKY 3/5/01 1:00 PM This one 4/20/04 2:30 PM A-Harp, Key of E, Slow Blues
I woke up wondering where my baby gone.
I was feeling worried how my life could go on.
I felt better when I heard someone singing a sad song!
(Chorus)
Sing me a sad song,
Tell me how you rose above wrong!
I don't want no saccharine in the lyrics,
Sing me a sad, sad, song!
It's amazing how it feels when you ain't the only one.
These same things been going on since time begun.
There are lessons to be learned from sad, sad, songs!
(Chorus)
Sing me a sad song,
Tell me how you rose above wrong!
I don't want no saccharine in the lyrics,
Sing me a sad, sad, song!
The time's dragging on oh so long.
When someone tells you; you don't belong.
Sometimes ain't nothing to do but sing a sad song!
(Chorus)
Sing me a sad song,
Tell me how you rose above wrong!
I don't want no saccharine in the lyrics,
Sing me a sad, sad, song!
Sing me a 12-bar shuffle from the one.
Or make it a ballad tell me what was done.
Get it off your chest Baby sing me a sad song!
(Chorus)
Sing me a sad song,
Tell me why you're still going on!
Keep the artificial sweetener out the lyrics,
Sing me a sad, sad, song!!!...
(Repeat last chorus to fade)

O Absolutly. Music is the best way medicine. Music has different kinds of melody's that can make you feel happy, sad, angry, in love anything. If your feeling sad, put on some happy music. Quoting Marylin Manson.
"When I was a kid growing up, music was the escape, I mean you put on a record and it's not going to yell at you for dressing the way you do, it's gonna make you feel better about it."

Funny you should ask......I just read an article that listening to music can lessen chronic pain, make it more bearable.I love music and have always believed it has helped me in my life to better cope with things.I can be having a bad day and put on some good upbeat tunes to make the day better, change my mood into a better one.So yes,I do believe that music is good for the soul.

Yup, I do agree!
There r many kinds of music: slow n mellow, and upbeat.
U can choose to listen to any music which fit for your feeling at that time. It really feels good.
Slow n mellow when u feel sad, or romantic with ur loved one.
Upbeat when u feel happy, or just to lighten up your mood when u wake up in the morning to start ur day.
That's why it has been said that: There is music to whatever u feel, that is the soundtrack of your life...

Music Cure's your soul like Prozac. If you are in love and if you are laughing with her while listening to music. Then your soul would feel immortal!

It is. It can pump you up when you're down, break you in half when you're sad, and make you smile like a cheshire cat when all is right in your world.........
