It makes us feel special when our fella brings us flowers. It's romantic and we feel special because you thought of us. what else can I say. geeze get the girl some flowers already!

Women were trained to admire men that can waste a bit of money on them during the courting process. To some extent, if you get knocked up, this would make a lot of evolutionary sense. Now if you use this sensible notion the flowers should tone down after courting and the house and family resources tone up.
That would be mature love and it should be appreciated.

Not all women do.... I personally don't like flowers at all..... But some of my friends love flowers cuz they're beautiful and smell nice....

Aside from the fact that flowers are pretty, it also meant that the person who gave them to you was willing to part with his hard earned money to get them for you, and was willing to walk around with a ridiculous bunch of girly blossoms and endure the stares till he got them to you. It's not just about the flowers...it's the whole process.

Men like flowers too. 90% of gardeners, florists and flower arrangers are men. I think you mean why do women like receiving flowers. Because they're pretty, they're beautiful, many are scented.....
