When i was a child we didn't have toys, we were lucky to get two *rocks* to bang together.....and when mother said "time for dinner!", we didn't head for the table, we had to grab our spears and *find* dinner!
Yes, i am jealous of kids today!
(Especially because they are so damned *young*!)

Look at all the cool toys they have! There are so many amusement parks out there too!
But it seems to me that it is taking away from their imagination. Everything is already there, thought up, planned out, before they even open the box. I remember just having a few things and being able to play for hours because I would use my imagination.
When I was a preschool teacher i was big on that. I would have a box with nothing but some scraps of construction paper and I would call it the "creative box" the children would love it because they could create anything.
I think as much as Children seem to have more fun and exciting stuff nowadays, I think we also need to get them back to just having fun with their imagination.

The Mobile Phone, the X Box, the Playstation ..... and how can we forget ... the big daddy .. the Computer
But, they've lost their innocence, thats what makes me pity them.

I had a strict catholic upbringing and I can't find words how I detested the endless hours at church . Now they have a children's mass which seems to be fun, my class at school told me about it.

i just wonder sometimes how this group of children growing up is going to act as adults. they are always being entertained. I really do not see them being very happy as adults
