2.) Act to prevent and eliminate personal discrimination of the material presented.
3.) Act to ensure that all persons have access to the information which they require.
4.) Act to expand choice of thought and opportunity for variety of expression for all... with special regard to disadvantaged or oppressed groups and persons.
5.) Promote conditions that encourage respect for the diversity of opinions which constitute American society.
6.) Acknowledge that this is a culture, ethnic and gender-conscious society, where these factors may contribute, not only to the historical retelling of events but to the point of view each student may hold.

Glad I am not taking that course!

Would include

that work should be reviewed by a diverse group of people before it is distributed to the public.

that all researchers and teachers become aware of their own prejudices and areas of possible personal gain and check their work for bias.

that future teachers and researchers have to answer this question!

that future teachers and researchers compare, study, follow , and work to improve the ethical codes set by their professional organizations

i think if history was recorded by multiple points in different countries and then combined to overtrace the event it would aleviate a lot of political missuse
